Wonders Of The World Bucket Filled

A quick Photoshop task that taught me how to use two really important tools on Photoshop. The lasso tool or Magnet tool to select an object an then quickly fill it in with a different pattern/texture. Defining a texture and just with a few clicks being able to fill up a whole object now saves me allot of time , I'm so grateful for this command on Photoshop. Task = 30 min total

JUXTAPOSE

My group and I decided for a competition to work with this word as one of our concept ideas. I looked at image examples to try an get a visual understanding of the word, these pictures below gave me a clear understanding, they are very interesting and I love this artistic , fun , and  imaginative idea for the word JUXTAPOSE.

Juxtapose :
[juhk-stuh-pohz, juhk-stuh-pohz] :to place close together or side by side, escpecially for comparison or contrast.

Demonstrating an understanding of a figure /ground                                              balance by creatively combining two subjects.

Bacteria can be friendly?

(endagered sea otter covered in oil)
A  ship  for some reason has a crack and there's a huge oil spill in the middle of the ocean . Harmless fish, plants and animals become sick and eventually die because  of the toxic chemicals which now contaminate the waters and their environment . Sea otters for example die from hypothermia because their oil-soaked furr can no longer keep them warm . At least their is a solution! A biotechnology called Bio-remediation is a process that microorganisms or their enzymes turn the contaminated environment  back into its non-contaminated condition. Bacteria attacks certain contaminants, degrades them and turns them back into nontoxic compounds.  Some bio-remediation types are:

  • Phytoremediation
  • Mycormediation
  • Bacterial Bioremediation

Throwback Year 2 Landscape Of Ideas Project

(MasterPlan Cob Intervention)

The Site I worked on here had two things I  personally thought needed to be changed. I always kept in mind that the site was on a slope and many great views were hidden , I also felt that the place was surrounded by a community that didn't really relate to each other.  So I came up with the Idea of bringing together the people of Southeast London to build together as a community a Cob structure . The whole idea was for people to socialized and have fun while building this Natural Cob Art Intervention for Avery interventionr built o Hill Park. The project was built on a slope because it was designed to elevate the views out into the beautiful horizon. I wanted to create an area where people can relax and enjoy the views .The main concept was designing in a Picturesque style.
